Ultra-Linie
The Ultra line is the first to impress with its resolution, which can reach up to 50 nm thanks to additional optical elements in the beam path. These are also the basis how to make the magnification almost independent from the working distance of the sample to the source.
Furthermore, it is possible to make the sample visible not only as an absorption image but also as a phase contrast image, similar to light microscopy. By varying the beam energy, it is also possible to vary the absorption depending on the composition of the sample.
