JOLT CL detector
JOLT is a small, novel CL detector, which can be used in a panchromatic version or with RGB filter. The detector can be attached to any SEM with a free EDS port and the signal is coupled directly to the scan generator.
Three effective diodes in the tip of the finger detect the photons. The panchromatic design results in an intensity over the visible wavelength range. In the RGB version, each diode is masked with a filter to produce three images of the corresponding color spectra. The typical applications of this detector are in the field of geology, ceramics and general materials research.
